When you’re visiting Japan you can’t miss the hot springs/Onsen – a magical, cultural and natural experience from which you emerge feeling revitalized, re-energized, and most importantly, relaxed. When I visited Ueda, I was lucky enough to take a trip to the public hot springs– I was told it was a must-do while I was in the area. It was a wonderfully calming experience, and so nice to unwind from the stresses of travel. I highly recommend it for those seeking relaxation and another unique aspect of Japanese culture.Emily <New Zealand>
